아셀러스 아카데미 졸업식 참석은 졸업생들의 노고와 성취를 기념하기 위해 마련된 특별하고 잊지 못할 경험입니다. 캔사스시티 IST 캠퍼스에 도착하는 순간부터 여러분은 감동적인 활동, 잊지 못할 순간, 그리고 함께 이룬 성취의 기쁨으로 가득한 하루를 만끽하게 될 것입니다. 졸업식의 모든 요소는 졸업생과 그 가족들에게 평생 잊지 못할 추억을 선사하기 위해 세심하게 계획되었습니다.
등록:
도착 시 졸업생과 가족들은 등록에서 체크인을 하고 이벤트 호스트가 지정되어 그날의 활동을 안내하고 궁금한 사항에대해 알 수있습니다.
학생 아침식사 & 오리엔테이션:
IST의 카탈리스트 레스토랑에서 따뜻한 아침 식사와 무료 스타벅스 음료로 특별한 하루를 시작하세요. 졸업생들은 자신을 소개하고 동료 졸업생들에 대해 새로운 것을 배울 수 있는 기회를 갖게 됩니다. 이 소개는 동료 졸업생들을 만나고 하루를 활기차게 시작할 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다. 이 행사는 주로 졸업생을 위한 것이지만 학부모와 가디언도 참여하실 수 있습니다.
아셀러스 스토어 팝업:
아셀러스 스토어에서 판매하는 상품으로 학교 정신을 뽐내보세요! 아셀러스 아카데미 졸업생들을 위해 특별히 디자인된 특별한 기어 컬렉션을 갖춘 매장이 현장에 오픈합니다.
학사모와 가운 픽업:
졸업생 티켓에는 학사모와 졸업가운 대여가 포함되어 있으며 현장에 있는 아셀러스 스토어에서 픽업하실 수 있습니다.
아너스 레갈리아:
아너스 졸업반 학생들은 흰색 스톨을 착용할 수 있습니다. GPA가 우수한 아너스 졸업생은 아너스 코드를 착용할 수도 있습니다.
IST 캠퍼스 투어:
IST 캠퍼스를 둘러보고 아셀러스 필름 스튜디오를 둘러보고 세계 최초의 수소 자동차를 구경해 보세요. 이 투어를 통해 학생의 학업 여정을 형성해 온 혁신적인 환경을 엿볼 수 있습니다.
학사모 장식:
졸업생들에게 학사모 장식을 위한 용품이 제공됩니다. 다른 졸업생들과 함께하는 이 활동은 졸업 의상을 개성 있게 꾸미고 각 졸업학사모를 특별하게 꾸밀수있는 재미있는 방법입니다. 학부모님들께서는 모자 장식을 위한 추가 용품을 가져오시거나 기부해 주실 수 있습니다.
졸업 메모리 북:
학생들에게는 졸업 기념 앨범이 증정되어 졸업생들끼리 서로 메시지를 작성하고 수집할 수 있습니다. 참여를 원하는 학생들은 약 10cm x 13cm 크기의 졸업 사진들을 인화하여 다른 친구들과 교환해야 합니다. 고등학교 졸업 앨범처럼 이 앨범은 특별한 날을 기억하는 멋진 기념품이 될 것입니다.
단체 사진:
졸업생들은 단체 사진을 찍을 예정입니다. 졸업생들은 학사모와 가운을 착용하고 기념 사진을 찍어주세요. 이 사진들은 졸업식의 기쁨과 우정을 담아낼 수 있는 좋은 방법입니다.
졸업식 세레모니:
공식 졸업식은 오전 10시 30분에 강당에서 시작됩니다. 모두가 기다려온 순간, 졸업생들이 무대에 올라 걸으며 고등학교 졸업장을 받아 아셀러스 아카데미 졸업을 축하하는 순간입니다.
졸업식의 일환으로 부모님과 가족들은 무대에 올라 졸업생과 함께 사진을 찍을 기회를 갖게 됩니다!

Hello! I am very pleased to hear about the commencement ceremony and all of the wonderful things that are going to take place, but I have a quick question: from what I have seen, Acellus only shows the GPA for the current courses being taken, and not the cumulative high school GPA. Where do I find the cumulative GPA?

How do I get my student into honors pathway classes and how do I know that my child is taking honors pathway classes? Currently, my son is taking AP computer science. I want to put my son in classes accepted toward his college credits.

Is this available to schooled online graduates? My daughter is a senior with 3 classes left that she is near finishing but I know her “graduating class/year” is May 2025.

My daughter is on the standard pathway, but is a straight A student. If she has an “A” average upon graduation, will she be able to get a chord to wear?
Students are allowed to wear honor cords based on their GPA. However, only students graduating through the honors pathway will be permitted to wear the Honors Stole. Honors cords may be purchased onsite. For more information, please see the following link: https://www.acellus.kr/commencement/
My daughter started with acellus powerhouse then we switched her this year to acellus academy . What happens if she finishes the credits needed to graduate before she’s been enrolled in the program for a year? Does she not get to graduate? We switched to this cause she was being bullied in her public school .

When are commencement’s held? Are they only in May or do you hold them twice a year? My daughter will finish her classes next December and so I am trying to figure out her Commencement date.

For each graduation date, when do classes need to be completed and approved? For example, in order to take part in the February 2025 ceremony when do classes need to be finished?
To allow sufficient time for processing your diploma, we recommend submitting your graduation application 30 days prior to the ceremony (or earlier). If your graduation application is received less than one week prior to the date of the ceremony, you may need to re-register for a later date.
The link for scheduled commencement dates only shows July 2025. How can we get a list of commencement dates for 2025-2026?

Is the cap and gown in the student ticket thiers to keep or do we need to purchase a separate cap and gown?
Hi Jennifer – Your ticket covers the cap and gown rental. The gown will be returned to our on-site store right after the ceremony, but students get to keep their caps as a memento! We’ll have decorating supplies available on site for students to personalize their caps, and you’re welcome to bring your own supplies.
How does a graduate know if they are the valedictorian of their graduating class? How are they selected? What happens if there is a tie?

Hi Cris – At Acellus Academy, earning a high school diploma is a big achievement, and our Commencement Ceremony is a special way to celebrate it—though it’s completely optional and not required to graduate. This event welcomes all Acellus Academy students who’ve met graduation requirements, along with their families and guests. We’d love for you to join us! To ensure enough seating, every attendee will need a ticket. If attending isn’t possible, our records department can mail you the diploma.
Will all graduates names be called at the ceremony or just the graduates that can attend?
Hello Jasmine – We will call the names of the graduates attending the graduation ceremonies.
Is there an option to take part in graduation online if the student can’t make it in person?
Thank you for your inquiry! We currently livestream our commencement ceremonies, allowing families to watch their graduates cross the stage from anywhere. However, at this time, we do not offer a virtual participation option for students unable to attend in person. We’re always exploring ways to enhance our ceremonies, and value your feedback!

Can you have graduation confetti poppers and horns at the ceremony?
Hello Cathy – Select students and staff will receive confetti poppers at the commencement ceremony to celebrate the tassel-turning moment at the end of the ceremony. Parents are welcome to bring their own noisemakers but please be mindful of guests who may be sensitive to loud noises.
when I graduate from Acellus am I allowed to go back onto Acellus and continue to get more credits even if I already graduated? And would my account be disabled once I graduate?
